Alex Cooper’s former Barstool Sports boss, Dave Portnoy, didn’t score an invite to the podcaster’s upcoming nuptials.
The “BFFs” podcast host revealed he recently confronted the “Call Her Daddy” mogul, who is set to wed Hollywood producer Matt Kaplan later this year.
“I texted her Feb. 24,” he said on his podcast last week.

The former soccer star also asked the controversial media personality “how he was doing” after his split from Silvana Mojica last year. The pair called it quits in November 2023 after three years together.
“I wouldn’t have gone anyway,” Portnoy further quipped about the wedding invite.
“I like to be invited so I can say, ’No thanks, I’m busy.’”
Cooper was originally employed by Barstool Sports when her “Call Her Daddy” podcast — which she previously co-hosted with Sofia Franklyn — became a nationwide sensation.
The podcasters and former BFFs hosted the wildly popular sex-positive show for two years before parting ways amid a highly publicized contract blowout in early 2020.
“We had personal conversations. This s–t was so bad behind the scenes, like, it was going to end,” Cooper, 29, said on Barstool Radio last year.
In May 2020, she became the sole host of “Call Her Daddy,” before taking the podcast to Spotify where she inked a historic $60 million deal.
Kaplan, who proposed in the backyard of their Los Angeles mansion last year, most recently appeared in a steamy Skims campaign alongside his bride-to-be for the brand’s new Wedding Shop.
“To be a part of the launch ahead of my own wedding makes it such an extra fun celebration,” Cooper said last week.
“The Wedding Shop collections are beautiful, and I can’t wait to wear so many of the pieces during my wedding weekend and on my honeymoon.”
