Gypsy Rose Blanchard is officially tatted — and she brought her ex along for the special outing.

The star, who announced her split from her husband Ryan Scott Anderson last week, started the new chapter of her life at the tattoo parlor with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker.

Urker’s mother, Raina Williams, confirmed to People Tuesday that the pair grabbed lunch and then got inked together at a shop in Los Angeles. She did not reveal what tattoos Blanchard and Urker received, but a source tells TMZ that the the former lovers got matching dog designs.

They cemented their bond with matching husky dog tattoos, inked on opposite arms so that they would face each other, per TMZ.

“They are not back together,” Williams assured the outlet. “They’re very cool. Ken is just being a supportive friend to her and that’s it.”

Williams later noted that she thinks Blanchard, 32, is a “sweet girl.”

“I think she’s made her mistakes and she’s trying to learn from them like anyone else,” she added. “And I care a lot for Gypsy and I want to see good things happen for her.”

Blanchard and Urker became acquainted after the latter wrote to her in prison in 2018, with Williams revealing that Urker reached out after they watched the “Mommy Dead and Dearest” documentary based on Blanchard’s riveting childhood.

“He asked me before he wrote the letter and I thought it was a great idea just to show the girl that people out there her age can sympathize,” she explained.

They got engaged in October 2018, according to her August 2019 interview with E! News. However, Urker broke up with Blanchard after the hit Hulu series “The Act” debuted in March 2020, per Blanchard’s e-book, “Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom” (via Business Insider).

“My son has never had any kind of ill intentions towards Gypsy,” Williams told People of Urker. “It devastated him when they broke up the first time. But he truly thought that was what was best for Gypsy.”

Blanchard went on to marry Anderson, a special education teacher from Louisiana, in 2022 after he also reached out to her while she was in jail. The pair enjoyed some time in public after she was released at the end of 2023.

However, she announced their separation via a post on her private Facebook Page last Thursday and deleted her public social media accounts on March 15.

“People have been asking what is going on in my life,” she penned. “Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou.”

“I am learning to listen to my heart,” she added. “Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”

She and Anderson had appeared to be going strong before that. He picked her up from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri when she was released from prison in December 2023 after serving over seven years for her 10-year sentence for the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

During the documentary, though, Gypsy admitted to having feelings for Urker ahead of her marriage to Anderson.

Gypsy was incarcerated after she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for helping her then-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, plot her mother’s stabbing death.

Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental disorder that caused her to seek sympathy from others by pretending Gypsy was sick with cancer, muscular dystrophy and more.
