Tori Spelling is insisting her family never “lived” in an RV amid her money troubles, claiming they only rented the motorhome for “summer vacation.”
During the premiere episode of her new “Misspelling” podcast, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum shared a story about how her 15-year-old daughter Stella’s classmates thought her family was “homeless” after they were photographed in the RV on multiple occasions last year.
“My daughter is like, ‘People already talk about us at school. They know you and they know the family and they read the press,’” she recalled.

“She had someone come up to her at school and ask, ‘Are you in the school district, or where does your RV park? Because you live in an RV with your mom right?’” Spelling went on.
The mother of five, 50, explained that they simply rented the mobile home “like every other family” and “drove up the coast and camped.”
“She was shamed,” the actress said of Stella.

Elsewhere in the episode, Spelling chaotically called her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, to let him know she had filed for divorce.
While Spelling didn’t air McDermott’s side of the call, the pair – who split nine months ago – seemingly argued over who should have filed first.
“They’ve done it. It’s the formality. It’s just the one sheet you check off, and next you’ll have to sign it,” she informed the “Chopped Canada” host, 57.
“Wait, it’s gonna be spun what way? That I’ve had enough of you? What? What do you mean? In all honesty, after this whole journey, if it’s about … who files first, the other person is wrong, I feel like I deserve to file first then” she stated.
“You basically put it out there with Daily Mail and said everything you’ve done to me over the years, so I think it makes perfect sense that it followed up that I would file,” she added, referencing McDermott’s tell-all interview last year.
The former couple, who share kids Stella, Liam, 17, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7, called it quits in June 2023.
Shortly afterward, Spelling moved into a series of rental homes and cheap motels, before settling in the RV for a time over the summer.
The family is now living in a lavish five-bedroom, three-bath home in the San Fernando Valley, according to the Daily Mail.
McDermott, for his part, seemingly moved in with new girlfriend Lily Calo at the beginning of 2024.
