Kyra Sedgwick knows she’s got a good thing with her husband, Kevin Bacon.
When asked by Page Six what the secret behind her 36-year marriage to the actor is, she told us, “We’re really lucky. We got lucky really young.
“[But] you know it’s work, it’s always going to be work,” she continued while attending the 44th annual New York Women in Film and Television Muse Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street earlier this week.
“A partnership for that long demands a lot of you … I feel like a very lucky woman.”

The pair first crossed paths when Sedgwick was 12 in 1977. However, they reconnected while filming “Lemon Sky” in 1987 and married the following year.
The two — who share son Travis, 34, and daughter Sosie, 32 — have delighted fans on Instagram by posting quirky videos where they serenade their menagerie of farm animals or dance together.
Most recently, Bacon and Sedgwick paid homage to “Footloose” — which shot the former to stardom in 1984 — by donning matching outfits while lip-synching to the Muni Long song “Made For Me.”
“They say after you’ve been together for a while you start to look alike. I don’t see it,” the couple wrote in the caption of the Instagram video.
In the clip, the couple strutted down a hallway, wearing white tank tops and jeans, just like Bacon’s “Footloose” character.
In a 2020 People interview, the “Leave The World Behind” star, 65, gushed about Sedgwick, calling her his person.

“Kyra and I believe in each other as actors, as directors and as talent. She’s never been anything other than supportive of me,” he shared.
“She doesn’t have a competitive bone in her body when it comes to me. She takes my successes as hers. I’m the same way,” he continued. “Her partnership is invaluable. I found someone I was meant to be with.”
The two of them recently announced that they will be working together in the upcoming comedy, “Connescence.”
It’s the first time they’ve worked together since starring in the 2004 film “Cavedweller” together.
Sedgwick was honored at the Muse Awards, alongside “Marvellous Mrs. Maisel” star Alex Borstein and Fran Drescher.
