It’s officially over for Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum filed for divorce from the former “Chopped Canada” host on Friday, nine months after initially announcing their split, court documents obtained by Page Six show.
Spelling, 50, listed the estranged couple’s date of separation as June 17, 2023, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause.

Dean McDermott says ex Tori Spelling ‘gets along fabulously’ with new girlfriend
TMZ was the first to break the news of the pair’s divorce.
The “90210MG” podcast host’s filing comes just three days after she was spotted sobbing in her car following a tense conversation with McDermott at a storage facility. At one point during the heated exchange, Spelling stood by herself and held out her hands to the side in an exasperated manner while appearing to shout at her estranged husband.
Appearing to be fed up with the chat, the “Due South” alum walked away to lean on a chainlink fence to catch his breath.
The emotional encounter occurred after McDermott gushed to Page Six about what a “great support” Spelling has been amid their separation and his sobriety.
“You know, she just wants me to be happy. Bottom line,” he told us earlier this month. “And she’s such an incredible woman that way. She’s one of the most generous people I’ve ever met in my life.”
The “Tracker” actor also shared that Spelling and his new girlfriend, Lily Calo, “get along fabulously.”
“If I do the right things and I live an estimable and respectable life, you know, I get these wonderful gifts in my life,” he raved after Spelling was seen greeting Calo with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
McDermott and Spelling married on May 7, 2006, but the former shocked fans last summer when he posted — and then deleted — a divorce announcement.
He later admitted in an interview that he had shared that Instagram post in the midst of a bender.
“That’s what it led to and that’s what led to the brokenness and to what happened between me and Tori,” he told the Daily Mail. “I couldn’t do it anymore. I couldn’t live that life anymore. I was tired of the anger and the yelling.”
McDermott spent more than a month seeking treatment for his alcohol abuse and pill addiction.
