Bethenny Frankel is breaking down the “wild” moment she got “punched in the face” at a New York City bakery.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum was in Manhattan looking at apartments when she claims she stopped for a snack and was hit by “this man, this homeless man.”
Frankel, 53, clarified to her TikTok followers in a video Thursday that the random attack wasn’t made “with, like, a closed fist.”

“This is insane bc this happened to me a few months ago but I was embarrassed to say,” Frankel wrote on Wednesday. “I was on the UWS [Upper West Side]. Insane. I was taking video of a bakery.”
In her follow-up video, the former reality star denied deleting the comment as has been reported.
“It’s a crazy crime spree and I don’t understand it. And I’m sorry for all the other women that it’s happening to,” she added of the “alarming” trend of being “cold-cocked, like, in the street.”
Frankel noted, “I hope it’s more of, like, a weird trend than an actual reflection of crime because it did scare me about New York City.
“That day did freak me out,” she continued. “I did I did tell my daughter about it because it scares me that she’s in the city sometimes walking in the streets.”
The “Just B” podcast host is the mother of 13-year-old Bryn, whom she shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy.
The mother-daughter duo returned from a trip to Australia earlier this week during which they visited an animal sanctuary, bought phallic desserts and more.
Frankel interrupted their vacation coverage on social media to clap back at criticism of her teenager’s clothing in a March 20 Instagram video.
The “mama bear” threatened to “f–k up” haters, saying, “You can criticize my looks, my career, my choices, my words, but the one thing you cannot criticize is my parenting.”
