Kenan Thompson had a “tough” time watching the “Quiet on Set” Nickelodeon documentary.

The “All That” alum addressed the series for the first time on the “Tamron Hall Show” Wednesday, nearly two weeks after the March 17 release made headlines.

Thompson claimed he “wasn’t really aware of a lot of” the documentary’s revelations — which included Drake Bell’s alleged sexual abuse by voice coach Brian Peck, Dan Schneider’s alleged inappropriate behavior and more — because “these things happened after [he] left.”

“I think it’s a good thing that the doc is out and is putting things on display that need to be — stories that need to be told for accountability sake,” he said. “But it’s definitely tough to watch because I have fond memories of that place.”

“I have fond memories of my co-stars and stuff like that, so, to hear that they’ve gone through terrible things like that, it’s just, it’s really tough,” Thompson continued.

The “Kenan and Kel” alum went on to directly address allegations about Schneider.

“Dan wasn’t really on ‘Kenan and Kel’ like that,” he explained. “I mean, he got a ‘created by’ credit but it was a different showrunner, so our worlds weren’t overly overlapping like that outside of ‘All That’ necessarily. … It’s tough for me because I can’t really speak on things that I’ve never witnessed.”

As for when he last spoke to fellow “All That” cast member Amanda Bynes, Thompson said it has been years and he is “rooting for her from afar.”

Bynes, 37, has yet to speak out on “Quiet on Set” — but Josh Peck reacted via Instagram after social media users called him out for not vocally supporting Bell.

“Children should be protected. Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult,” Josh, 37, said, while Bell, also 37, assured haters his “Drake & Josh” co-star had reached out to him privately.

Schneider, for his part, issued a “strong apology” in a YouTube video in the wake of sexism, racism and inappropriate workplace behavior accusations.

The showrunner admitted that “watching over the past two nights was very difficult” and he felt “regret” for his past “embarrassing” behavior.
