Taylor Swift is barely leaving Sophie Turner’s side during the “Game of Thrones” star’s ugly split from Joe Jonas, it seems.
The superstar singer had dinner with Turner twice last week while the press was full of reports about the gory details of the divorce and custody battle.
Now Pvnew hears that the singer also had Turner over to her place in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood on Friday for a night in.
Swift’s solid support seems to be lifting Turner’s mood. Sources say Turner seemed to be in good spirits Friday night, in spite of the public collapse of her marriage.
(As it happens, Swift briefly dated Jonas in 2008, when she was 18 and he was 19.)
Swift, 33, and Turner, 27, stepped out on Tuesday night, walking into the Via Carota restaurant in Greenwich Village arm in arm. Afterward, they hit the trendy Temple Bar.
Then on Thursday, the pair grabbed dinner with friends at the Hotel Barriére Fouquet.
What you need to know about Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's split
Joe Jonas filed for divorce from wife Sophie Turner on Sept. 5, 2023, after four years of marriage.
The couple have two children together.
A source claims the pair had “many disagreements,” and the divorce was a “last resort” for Jonas.
Jonas is seeking “shared parental responsibility” with his estranged wife.
The children are said to live primarily with Jonas, and the singer is said to be caring for them “pretty much all the time.”
Turner’s penchant for partying is believed to have factored into the split, and a source said the pair have “very different lifestyles.”
Turner is suing Jonas to return their two daughters to England.
The actress claims she found out her estranged husband filed for divorce “through the media.“
Jonas blasted the lawsuit, saying it goes against an “amicable co-parenting setup.”
And the very next night, they hung out at Swift’s home with another pal, according to our sources.
It’s a good time to have good friends. On September 5, Jonas filed for divorce from Turner after four years of marriage.
Then on September 21, Turner sued Jonas for the return of their two daughters to her home country, England, claiming he was holding on to their passports to prevent them from leaving.
In the papers filed in a Manhattan court, she demanded “the immediate return of [the] children [who had been] wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.”
“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending,” Jonas’ rep said in a statement to Pvnew at the time.
“When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted.”
Then on Monday, the estranged couple signed an interim consent order agreeing to keep the kids in New York while the details of the divorced are worked out.
Turner’s rep didn’t get back to us. Swift’s rep declined to comment.
