Gisele Bündchen is no cheater.
The supermodel slammed speculation she began dating Joaquim Valente before her October 2022 divorce from Tom Brady during an interview with the New York Times published Saturday.
When asked about the affair rumors, she replied, “That’s a lie.”
“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” Bündchen, 43, argued.

It’s no secret they had a friendship before falling head over heels for one another, as the pair were spotted spending time with each other in Miami and Costa Rica beginning in 2022.
However, a source close to Brady, 46, hinted that the former NFL quarterback doesn’t agree with the timeline they’ve chosen to share with the public.
“If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it,” the insider claimed to the Daily Mail in February.

“Tom and Joaquim are not friends — but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy,” the source added. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”
Bündchen and Brady share a son, Benjamin, 13, and a daughter, Vivian, 10. The former pro athlete also has a son, John “Jack” Edward, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Last year, Bündchen once again shut down rumors that she and Valente were anything but friends.
“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,” she told Vanity Fair in March 2023.
Now, it appears Bündchen is a bit more comfortable opening up about her love life, confirming to the New York Times that she is indeed dating someone.
“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she noted — without mentioning Valente by name.
Bündchen concluded, “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
