Kris Jenner did her best to keep her composure while stepping out for the first time since her younger sister Karen Houghton’s sudden death.
The momager put her mourning on hold to support her daughter Kylie Jenner’s latest business venture at an event in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Kris, 68, maintained a neutral expression as she entered the launch party for Kylie’s new canned vodka soda brand, Sprinter, while wearing a white tuxedo with a black silk lapel layered over a ruffled button-down shirt.

“My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time,” she added. “Karen was beautiful inside and out.”
Kris described her sister as the “sweetest” and “kindest” person.
“She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter,” she continued, adding that Houghton holds a “huge part of [her] heart.”

“I cherish every single memory we have together,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum wrote.
Kris shared that the loss was a reminder that life is short and to never take things for granted.
“We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister,” she concluded.
Houghton’s official cause of death has not yet been determined; however, law enforcement sources told TMZ she appeared to have died from natural causes.
Kim Kardashian also honored her late aunt’s memory with an emotional tribute on Instagram.
“I love you so much auntie Karen,” the Skims founder, 43, captioned a throwback photo with Houghton.
Meanwhile, Kylie, who attended her Sprinter soirée wearing a black leather midi dress, mourned the loss by sharing a photo of Houghton to her Instagram Story.
