“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum NeNe Leakes claims her former co-star Porsha Williams refused to work with her on a new season of Netflix’s “The Upshaws.”
“Earlier this week, I was told by my management company that the Netflix scripted series ‘The Upshaws’ were interested in casting me for a part,” she said in a video via her Instagram Stories Friday.
Leakes, 56, added that she was “excited” to make a cameo on the show, which stars Mike Epps, Wanda Sykes and Kim Fields.
“I haven’t seen Porsha. We always have a good laugh when we see each other, so I was like, ‘Ok, me and Porsha are going to kill this part,'” she further explained.
Leakes said she flew to Los Angeles and got ready with the wardrobe department, but didn’t see Williams, 42, at rehearsal.
“Porsha never came,” the former Bravolebrity claimed. “We wrapped for the evening. I went back to my hotel, and when I got to my hotel, production called me and asked me if I had any issues with any ‘Housewives’ because they were going to be recasting the other position.”

Leakes said she did not want to invade Williams’ privacy or feel like she was being “nosy.”
She also recalled how she once “fought” for the mom of one to stay on “RHOA” after her 2013 divorce from Kordell Stewart.
“The bottom line is that Porsha did not want to share the spotlight. That’s it,” Leakes said.
“Professionals can share the spotlight. Porsha is not a star, she is a Bravolebrity. Be clear.”
Page Six has reached out to reps for both Williams and Netflix for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Leakes and Williams have had their fair share of ups and downs on and off screen.
The last time they both appeared on “RHOA” together was in 2020 during Season 12 of the Bravo show.
In April 2022, Leakes filed a lawsuit against Andy Cohen, NBCUniversal, Bravo, production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original and other executives, alleging they encouraged and allowed a racist and hostile work environment.
That August, the “Glee” alum dropped her discrimination lawsuit against the defendants “without prejudice” — meaning she can refile the case later.
Meanwhile, Williams announced last month that she was making her return for Season 16 of “RHOA” after a brief hiatus.
