Emma raved about her late cousin’s “contagious smile” and said she wished she had the “right words to say i’ll miss you.”
“i wish i was able to give you a hug and tell you how much you were loved. you were human, you had flaws but never once did i doubt the friendship we had. i’ll always cherish the times i got to spend with you,” she continued.
Emma added that she will miss Garrison’s “goofy dad jokes, our coffee runs, the dinners we shared.”
“you were a son, a brother, a soldier, and a friend. if there is a god i hope he’s giving you peace. i love you robert,” she concluded her post.
Last week, Janelle, 4, and her ex-husband, Kody Brown, announced that their son had died at 25 years old.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him,” their joint Instagram statement read.
“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory,” they concluded.
Since then, Janelle and other family members have been sharing memories of Garrison and honoring his life via social media.
Garrison’s brother Gabriel Brown reportedly found Garrison dead at his home in Arizona with a gun in his hand.
The police report, obtained by TMZ, said Janelle had sent Gabriel to “check” on Garrison after he sent a concerning text message.
“I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days,” he allegedly wrote.
Janelle and Kody broke up in 2022 after being spiritually married since 1993. In addition to Garrison, the former couple share five other children together.
Kody has a total of 18 children with four women, but he is currently only in a relationship with his legal wife, Robyn Brown.
