Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were photographed at their respective residences just days before announcing their split.
The former bartender, 44, was spotted leaving the pair’s once-shared home in Valley Village Monday to meet up with his estranged wife at her new residence in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
After arriving at Cartwright’s new digs, Taylor went inside for about 30 minutes before emerging alongside his former “Vanderpump Rules” co-star, 35, and their 2-year-old son, Cruz.
Despite the palpable tension between the two, they worked together to load their son into his car seat before Taylor headed home with the toddler in tow.

While Taylor took Cruz for the day, Cartwright — who was notably still wearing her wedding ring — seemingly went out to film content for her social media channels.
Both reality TV stars were dressed casually during the brief interaction, with Taylor sporting a hoodie and sweatpants.
Although Cartwright started the morning by wearing a pointed “Better Days Ahead” hoodie with leggings, she later changed into a flannel.
Despite living in different neighborhoods these days, both Bravo stars were photographed taking their trash cans to the curb.
Cartwright confirmed on Thursday that she and Taylor were living separately amid their split, which she announced on the pair’s joint podcast, “When Reality Hits.”
“On my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go through rocky times,” she explained. “Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year.”
“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said.
Despite her cheery tone of voice in the podcast, Cartwright noted that it is “still very hard to talk about.”
“I’m taking one day at a time,” she said. “I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz.”
She went on to assure fans that “everything will be just fine.”
Although she didn’t say why they called it quits, the estranged couple’s new reality TV show, “The Valley,” is set to come out next month and will likely feature some of their marital woes.
The update came one week after Cartwright told listeners that she and Taylor were going through some “ups and downs” when followers noticed the pair hadn’t been posting together on social media.
“I’m not going to go too hard on this because, you know, some people do deserve to have their privacy. But I will say — marriage is hard and people go through ups and downs all the time and it’s completely normal,” she shared at the time.
“Sometimes people might need their space [and] sometimes they won’t.”
Taylor has yet to comment on their split.
The Bravo stars met in 2015 and dated on and off before tying the knot in June 2019.
They welcomed their baby boy two years later.
