Kailyn Lowry gave her followers a look inside her newborn daughter’s NICU stay after prematurely giving birth to twins.
The “Teen Mom 2” alum took to Instagram Friday to share a sentimental video following the release of her twins — one boy and one girl — whom she welcomed with boyfriend, Elijah Scott last month.
“Since Elijah and I never really got to be in the NICU together, I filmed a lot of moments alone,” she wrote in the video, adding she “always” kept an eye on the monitors while visiting her daughter.
Lowry held tight onto her daughter — whose name hasn’t been released — while grabbing a pale pink bow to dress her up in.
“First time putting a bow on her,” she continued while also switching out the baby’s hospital blanket for a “home” one.
“Soaking it all in,” the mom of seven, 31, added.
Lowry sent her love to “all the NICU babies and families” experiencing similar circumstances as her family.
“I know there are so many that have gone through far more than we did… I see you,” she wrote in the caption.
The “16 and Pregnant” alum later revealed her babies had to stay in the NICU, explaining she was able to take her son home before her daughter.
“[The girl twin] was away from her twin; we were away from her. When we were home, we still couldn’t process it because there was so much going on here,” she said during an episode of her podcast on Jan. 26.
Lowry shared she often visited her daughter in the hospital, whom she referred to as Baby A, while Scott stayed home with their newborn son, known as Baby A, and her other children.
The MTV alum added that her daughter wouldn’t take a bottle and didn’t “show signs of hunger.”
“I don’t think I’ve processed it to this day. We went to the pediatrician yesterday, and I’m still very much concerned about so many things,” she continued.
Lowry also stated she’s concerned Baby A and Baby B will have trouble bonding due to their time apart.
Lowry’s life as a mom has been documented closely for 11 years on “Teen Mom” shows before she left the franchise in 2022.
At 17, she welcomed her son Isaac, now 14, with boyfriend Jo Rivera in 2010.
The podcast host later moved on with now ex-husband Javi Marroquin in 2012. They welcomed son Lincoln, 12, together before calling it quits.
In 2017 and 2020 she welcomed sons Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
Lowry took her relationship public with her current boyfriend, Scott, in 2022.
Aside from the twins, the duo share son Rio, 1, whom they welcomed after Lowry left “Teen Mom 2.”
