Another “Bachelor” baby is on the way!
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon announced Monday that they are expecting their second child.
Iaconetti admitted to People that she is “overwhelmed as hell” but excited for their nearly 2-year-old son, Dawson, to have a sibling.
“That’s very important. Both of us come from families with two kids, so we wanted to give that to Dawson,” Haibon chimed in. “I want that big family dynamic, but man, having so many kids is just so overwhelming.”
Iaconetti shared that this pregnancy has “been a lot easier than the other one,” though she hinted that the couple will stop at two kids.
“I don’t like the feeling of being pregnant,” she told the magazine. “I never want to feel this again. Just don’t like it.”
Iaconetti and Haibon, who starred on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015, welcomed their first child on Jan. 31, 2022.
The pair, both 35, later revealed that they chose Dawson’s moniker due to Iaconetti’s love for Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the 1997 film ”Titanic.”
“This is Jack Dawson from ‘Titanic’-inspired,” she told Us Weekly at the time, making it clear that the name was “not” inspired “after James Van Der Beek’s [‘Dawson’s Creek’] character.
“‘Titanic’ has always been my favorite movie of all time,” she added. “I was 10 when I saw it.”
However, in August 2023, the former “Bachelor” star admitted on “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast” that she “had such gender disappointment with Dawson.”
Despite the initial letdown, Iaconetti has loved life as a boy mom and said she would be “happy” if they had another.
“Because then I’d want them to have that, hopefully, brother bond,” she explained.
Although the soon-to-be parents of two met in 2015, they didn’t start dating until May 2018.
That same year, they embarked on yet another season of the “Bachelor” spinoff series, where Haibon got down on one knee.
He popped the question with a 2.4-carat diamond surrounded by 86 smaller stones designed by Neil Lane.
The pair tied the knot the following year during a “romantic” ceremony in Rhode Island, where the groom grew up.
