Former President Donald Trump and his relatives came out to support his wife, Melania Trump, at her mother Amalija Knavs’ funeral in Palm Beach, Fla., Thursday.
Donald’s daughters, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump, were seen attending the somber gathering at The Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea with their respective spouses Jared Kushner and Michael Boulos.
Melania was photographed outside of the Episcopal church alongside her and Donald’s 17-year-old son, Barron, dressed in an all-black blazer and skirt set. She paired the outfit with large black sunglasses.
The former president, meanwhile, wore a dark navy suit.
The trio was seen standing at the front of the church’s steps alongside a priest, awaiting for Knavs’ casket to make its way inside.
Melania, 53, looked downcast in several of the photos as she continues to mourn the loss of her mother, whose death was just announced last week.
“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Amalija,” the former first lady said on X on Jan. 9.
“Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity.”
Melania added at the time, “She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law. We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy.”
Knavs was said to be “very ill” around the holidays, which is why Melania was absent from the Trump family’s Christmas photo.
“Hopefully she’ll be recovering,” Donald, 77, shared in a video from his Palm Beach estate on Dec. 31.
“Hopefully, that’ll be OK, but it’s a tough one, a very tough one … We just want to wish Amalija that she gets better as quickly as possible.”
Knavs and her husband, Viktor Knavs, were reportedly living at Mar-a-Lago near their daughter and son-in-law when she passed recently at age 78. A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Amalija and Viktor, who hailed from Slovenia, became US citizens amid Donald’s presidency in 2018.
