June “Mama June” Shannon denied doing drugs during a recent TikTok Live video.
“I have been straight sober since Jan 27, 2020,” she told TMZ Friday.
“I don’t do drugs, I don’t smoke cigarettes and I don’t even drink.”
In a video obtained by the outlet, the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” alum, 44, was recently live-streaming on TikTok, rambling about people speaking negatively about her.
Mama June kept ducking down out of the camera’s view in the clip and wiping her nose when she would put her head back up.
The reality star told TMZ that she was “cooking food” during the Live and “was bending down so she could read the comments coming her way.”
Mama June also shared that she is blind in her right eye, which makes it harder for her to read.
The mom of four told the outlet that she takes weekly drug tests, which is a requirement for her current reality show, “Mama June: From Not to Hot.”
“That doesn’t keep me clean, I keep me clean,” she told TMZ.
Mama June’s substance abuse issues first surfaced in March 2019, when she was arrested with her then-boyfriend, Geno Doak, on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance for crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
On an episode of “Mama June: Family Crisis” in 2020, she revealed to her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon that she and Doak, 48, spent $2,500 a day on meth.
The following year, the reality star admitted that she and Doak spent nearly $1 million on “dope” during the height of her drug addiction.
At one point, Mama June claimed she sent her dealer $80,000 in one Cash App transaction.
“I went into rehab with $1.75 to my name,” she told Access Hollywood in March 2021. “And I came out with nothing.”
That month, Mama June celebrated 14 months of sobriety.
In June 2021, the TLC star reunited with all four of her daughters: Lauryn, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Shannon and Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, who died on December 9, 2023, following a battle with cancer.
