The Countess is coming for Ramona Singer’s style — or lack thereof.
Luann de Lesseps ripped into Singer’s sartorial sensibilities on Cosmopolitan’s “Expensive Taste Test,” boldly declaring that she has the “worst” taste of all the “Real Housewives of New York City” OGs.
The 58-year-old cabaret performer filmed the segment alongside her “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” castmates Dorinda Medley and Kelly Bensimon.
“The thing about our cast is we all have a very distinct look, don’t you think? Like, I don’t dress like Luann, Luann doesn’t dress like Kelly, Kelly doesn’t dress like me,” Medley, 59, explained following de Lesseps’ playful jab at Singer.
“And we don’t dress like Ramona!” the “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer asserted, doubling down.
Still, Medley insisted that the “RHUGT: RHONY Legacy” cast — including herself, de Lesseps, Singer, 67, Bensimon, 55, Sonja Morgan and Kristen Taekman — “all like each other’s” wardrobes.
De Lesseps didn’t directly respond to the “Make It Nice” author’s assessment. However, perhaps inspired by her opinion of Singer’s style, she shared advice for “Housewives” who may struggle in the fashion department.
“Less is more. Like Coco Chanel [said], take off one piece before you leave,” she said. “We love a statement necklace — but not a statement necklace and ring and handbag.”
Medley agreed. “More is not better,” she echoed. “Because you start to look like a walking circus.”
Earlier this month, Singer wore a high-slit cutout gown in her favorite “Ramona blue” hue to the “RHUGT: RHONY Legacy” premiere party, which she accessorized with silver heels and a sparkling clutch covered in crystal butterflies.
As Pvnew /confirm/ied, however, Singer did not receive an official invite to the Manhattan event in light of her recent racism scandal.
“She wasn’t so much invited as she just decided to show up,” one insider quipped to us, adding that many attendees were “surprised” to see the former apple holder walking the red carpet.
“She wasn’t invited, came anyway, didn’t stay long,” another source shared.
Singer’s public appearance came six weeks after she was axed from BravoCon 2023 for texting a Pvnew reporter a partial racial slur.
The “Turtle Time with Ramona & Avery” podcast co-host also received heat for racism allegations leveled against her in an October exposé by Vanity Fair.
The lengthy report claimed that the former Douglas Elliman real estate agent once said “most” black people do not have present fathers and used the N-word.
She vehemently denied ever uttering the racial epithet, clarifying that she was referring to a “study” when discussing parenthood.
Speaking to Pvnew at BravoCon 2023, network honcho Andy Cohen asserted that removing Singer from the three-day fan convention in Las Vegas was the “right call.”
“Well, I mean I think listen, not to dwell on it, but I think just the events of this week led to her not being here. I think it was the right call, and period dot,” he told us in November.
When asked about what her future looks like on the network, though, 55-year-old Cohen remained coy.
“Well, I mean, we already shot ‘RHONY Legacy,’ so you will see her there, yeah,” he said.
“Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” is available to stream on Peacock with new episodes dropping Thursdays.
