Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are on each other’s wish list this year.
They were spotted on a rare outing in New York City with the pop singer’s father, Ed Butera, and a girlfriend just days before Christmas.
A source close to Grande told Pvnew exclusively, “They had dinner with her dad and family at her family’s favorite Italian restaurant.”
The source also told us that the group went to see Slater in his new Broadway musical, “Spamalot.”
The insider added of the couple, “They love to support each other in their work … when she’s done with work, she loves going to the theater when she can.”
We previously reported that Grande has been hitting the studio and working on new music.
The entire group appeared to be in excellent spirits as they stepped out of their black luxury SUV and headed to dinner.
Grande, 30, dressed up in an all-black ensemble consisting of a miniskirt, semi-sheer tights, a button-down sweater with fur-lined sleeves and a matching bucket hat.
She accessorized with a black purse and sparkling crystal earrings, and draped a long black coat over her arms.
She added a pop of color with red lipstick and appeared to sport more of a honey-colored hairstyle rather than the platinum blond she’s been rocking to film “Wicked,” which is how she met Slater.
Slater matched his girlfriend in a fully black outfit but dressed more casually in Nike athletic pants and a North Face zip-up.
The private couple — who Pvnew confirmed were officially an item in July — was last spotted in the same vicinity when Grande attended Slater’s opening night of “Spamalot” on Broadway, when she got mobbed by excited fans.
Grande and Slater were also spotted packing on the PDA during a dinner date in the Big Apple in late October just weeks after it was reported they moved in together.
“They’re really happy and really good for each other,” a person close to the artists told Us Weekly at the time.
“All of her friends love him.”
We broke the news of their relationship shortly after it was revealed that Grande and her now-ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, struggled to make their relationship work after the pandemic due to their “different” lives.
Their divorce was finalized in October.
Meanwhile, Slater, 31, filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay, in July. A source told Pvnew she was “completely blindsided.”
Two months before their separation, the actor gushed about how wonderful a mother Jay is to their 1-year-old son, seemingly showing that they were happily married.
An insider claimed in July that Grande was giving the estranged couple “space” to “work things out,” but they ultimately stayed together.
