Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly spent almost a week vacationing in Costa Rica with their two children ahead of the holidays.
According to CRHoy, the family of four explored the regions of Zapotal, Nandayure and Guanacaste during their stay, which lasted from Dec. 14 to 20.
The local outlet obtained photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex riding in a golf cart with their 2-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, in tow.
Their son, 4-year-old Prince Archie, was not visible in the shots.
For the tropical outing, Markle, 42, wore a white button-down shirt, denim cutoff shorts, sandals and a wide-brimmed hat. She pulled her dark hair back into a low ponytail.
Harry, 39, opted for a navy blue polo shirt and shorts. The couple’s little girl sat on his lap while he drove.
In a video from their getaway, seemingly taken on a different day, the former actress was seen carrying Lilibet in her arms as she made her way from what looked like a luxury resort to an SUV, where she loaded the toddler into the backseat.
Markle was sporting a black strapless dress, white walking shoes and another sun-shielding fedora.
Meanwhile, Harry donned a white T-shirt with olive green shorts, tan boating shoes and sunglasses. He was captured gesturing to staff at the villa, seemingly about their transportation.
Though the duo’s offspring were included in their vacation, they were noticeably absent from this year’s Christmas card.
The virtual greeting shared on behalf of the pair’s Archewell organization featured a picture of Harry and Markle at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games in September.
It appears little Archie is quite the shutterbug, as he asked for a pricey camera for Christmas.
During a November Q&A following a special screening of Netflix’s short film “The After,” Markle explained that her son was inspired by Misan Harriman, a renowned photographer who has taken some of their family snaps.
“The inspiration runs deep,” the “Suits” alum shared.
“Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera, and he said, ‘But it’s not a Leica like Misan,'” she said with a laugh, as the handcrafted cameras run in the thousands.
“I said, ‘You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas,'” Markle recalled replying before she directed her attention to Harriman and added, “So thank you for the inspiration across the board.”
