Jeannie Mai denied “gatekeeping” her daughter, Monaco, away from her estranged husband, Jeezy, amid their divorce.

According to court documents obtained by Pvnew Tuesday, the “Raid the Cage” host, 44, claimed she “remains committed to facilitating and encouraging” the involvement of the “Put On” rapper — born Jay Wayne Jenkins — in the 1-year-old’s life.

Mai stated in the court docs that she wants to “foster an open, supportive and safe environment for both parents to actively participate” in Monaco’s life — which includes Jeezy making sure all firearms are properly stored.

“It is essential to clarify that Ms. Jenkins’ insistence on reasonable safety measures being put in place, such as safely securing and locking away all firearms that have been unsecure in the past, as well as having familiarity and properly trained caregivers is absolutely not gatekeeping, but rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s wellbeing,” the docs read.

“These requests are grounded in Ms. Jenkins’ genuine concern for the parties’ daughter’s safety and security, especially when under the care of others and traveling across the country, and are reasonable protective measures, not an attempt to restrict Mr. Jenkins’ access to their daughter.”

Mai’s filing comes nearly three weeks after Jeezy, 46, accused his estranged wife of “gatekeeping” the toddler from him.

In the court docs obtained by Pvnew at that time, the four-time Grammy nominee claimed that although they made informal custodial arrangements for Monaco through the end of 2023, the “lack of consistency, continuity and stability inherently associated with such a haphazard and fluid parenting time schedule” is becoming “stressful” for the young child, whom they welcomed in January 2022.

“[Mai’s] interference with [Jeezy’s] relationship with the Child, again, while not generated from or with malicious intent, is nevertheless, causing confusion and tension between the parties and is working to stifle the development of Petitioner’s relationship with the Child,” the documents stated.

“As such, it is necessary at this point to separate, structure and clearly define the parties’ temporary legal and physical custody rights and set a parenting time schedule consistent with the best interests of the Child.”

A source told Pvnew at that time that the former “Real” co-host wanted her “family unit back and was “devastated” about their split.

While both parties have not spoken out much about their divorce, the “My President” emcee recently revealed that he and Mai attempted to go to therapy, which did not save their marriage.
