She’s ready for a white Christmas.
Kate Middleton stepped out in a head-to-toe winter white look for her third annual Together at Christmas concert at London’s Westminster Abbey on Friday, wearing trousers for the first time to the festive event.
The Princess of Wales, 41, wore snowy separates for the carol concert, wearing a long white Chris Kerr coat over a classic ivory sweater and a pair of high-waisted Holland Cooper trousers ($375).
She wore her hair down in loose curls, accessorizing with a pair of mother-of-pearl Van Cleef and Arpels Magic Alhambra drop earrings ($6,400) that she’s worn on several previous occasions over the years.
The royal kept the winter white theme going with a top-handled Strathberry bag ($555) and white pumps.
This isn’t the first ivory ensemble she’s worn in conjunction with the holiday concert; the Princess of Wales debuted a new tweed Self-Portrait jacket with sequin and pearl trim in a promotional photo for the event on Thursday.
As for the rest of her family, Prince William, 41, Prince George, 10 and Prince Louis, 5, matched in navy blue while Princess Charlotte, 8, sported navy tights with what appears to be the same burgundy coat she wore to last year’s concert.
The kids also experienced an exciting moment when they dropped off letters to Santa in a special mailbox outside the Abbey.
The princess’ younger sister, Pippa Middleton, 40, made her second public appearance this week, showing her support at the concert, with the royal sibling looking chic in a tweed Saloni jacket ($762 $304) with a black ribbon belt and matching trousers.
The Princess of Wales’ choice to wear trousers is hardly surprising given her recent sartorial switch to almost exclusively wearing pants; however, the royal wore festive red coats with dresses to both the 2021 and 2022 Together at Christmas concerts.
And while the mom of three has worn a parade of trouser suits and separates over the autumn months, she did rock a glittering Jenny Packham gown and the Lover’s Knot Tiara for the annual Diplomatic Corps Reception at Buckingham Palace earlier this week.
Perhaps Santa will slip another pantsuit under her tree.
