Gisele Bündchen and her kids enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving getaway to Costa Rica with their jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente, this week.
The foursome was photographed Wednesday having a relaxing lunch together in a picturesque tropical setting.
The Victoria’s Secret model showed off her fit physique in black high-waisted shorts and a ruffled bra top, while Valente kept it casual in printed black shorts and a navy blue T-shirt.
Bündchen’s kids — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Tom Brady — were also dressed in relaxing clothing, with Vivian, 10, in a graphic tee and white shorts, while Benjamin, 13, wore black athletic shorts and no shirt.
They appeared to be in Costa Rica for at least a handful of days, as Bündchen, 43, and Benjamin were spotted taking a stroll on the beach Tuesday morning.
It’s not clear what the supermodel’s plans were for Thanksgiving with her kids, as they headed out of the Central American country Thursday morning.
The mom of two and Valente have been close for years. The pair was most recently spotted training at his family-owned gym in Miami over the summer, where Bündchen flashed her rock-solid abs.
In the spring, they were photographed paddle boarding together in Miami, and before that, they enjoyed several other Costa Rican vacations.
They first met when the “Nourish” author signed her children up for jiu-jitsu lessons, which she then began.
“Initially I wasn’t even considering it for myself, to be honest with you,” she recalled to Dust magazine in 2022 (via Stylecaster).
“But when I brought him to the first class and started talking with Joaquim, I realized that it was much more than self-defense and became interested in the philosophy,” she added.
“It felt very much in line with what I believe in and look for in my life and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of myself … then I was hooked.”
That same year, Bündchen took to Instagram to express her appreciation for the sport.
“I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better. I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense,” she raved alongside a video of herself practicing with Valente.
“I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women.”
“Thank you @ValenteBrothers for being awesome teachers and for making training so much fun.”
Earlier this year, Bündchen — whose divorce from Brady, 46, was finalized in October 2022 — pushed back at rumors she’s dating Valente in an interview with Vanity Fair.
“I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything,” she said of the gossip.
“I’m so grateful to know all of [the Valente brothers], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially,” she added.
Bündchen noted, “He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust.”
“It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”
