Kel Mitchell seemed to be in high spirits during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade Thursday, two weeks after his emergency hospitalization.
The Nickelodeon alum, 45, was seen riding in the back of a “Good Burger 2” themed car with his co-star Kenan Thompson.
He rocked a black sweater with a bomber jacket and a beanie, while waving to the crowd and jamming out to music along the parade route.
Meanwhile, Thompson, 45, dressed festive in a multi-colored Christmas sweater and dark shades.
Earlier this month, Mitchell revealed he was taken to a Los Angeles hospital following a “genuinely frightening” medical incident.
“With the grace of God and the skill of the medical team, I’m now on the road to recovery at home, embraced by the love of my family,” the “All That” alum wrote on Instagram on Nov. 9.
One week later, Mitchell shared a health update via video with his followers.
“I’m good. I’m here. I’m smiling,” he began.
“On Tuesday, I was shopping while suddenly the whole room started spinning,” he went on, noting he got some food and water, assuming he was dehydrated.
“When I did that, the whole right side of my arm and my leg was numb, followed by me not being able to swallow — and that’s when I panicked.”
Mitchell drove himself to the hospital, where he failed an arm-and-leg mobility test and underwent a CT scan and an EKG.
“What we feared wasn’t what it was. It was actually a bulging disc I had from a prior injury pressing up against the nerve mimicking all those symptoms that I was going through,” he explained.
Thompson also took to Instagram to share a pic of the longtime collaborators wearing their “Good Burger 2” costumes from the set of their new movie.
“Glad my bro is feelin better!!! Double the trouble, double the patties, double the fun!!
