Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly blew up Kid Cudi‘s car after he discovered Kid Cudi was wooing his former girlfriend Cassie while they were on a break.
In the shocking abuse lawsuit that the “Me & U” singer filed against Combs Thursday, she claims the rapper became so “enraged” about her new romance that he warned her around the time of Paris Fashion Week in 2012 that he would “blow up” Cudi’s car.
“Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway,” the court documents, which were obtained by Pvnew, read.
Furthermore, a spokesperson for Cudi, 39, told The New York Times that Cassie’s claims regarding the matter are “all true.”
Still, Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, told Pvnew, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.”
“For the past 6 months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail,” his attorney continued.
“Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”
In Cassie’s lawsuit, which was filed in New York, she claims that she was trapped in a drug and alcohol-fueled relationship with the “Another One Of Me” hitmaker who was also physically and sexually abusive for years.
She accuses Combs, 54, of perpetuating sex trafficking by forcing her to perform sexual services on him as well as male sex workers while he filmed the acts.
She also claims he would repeatedly physically assault her in front of his staff and employees, who would all sit quietly out of fear they would lose their jobs.
And when she tried to leave the abuse, Cassie alleges that she would be sucked back in by Combs’ crew.
“Over the years that Mr. Combs abused Ms. Ventura physically and sexually, she again and again tried to escape his tight hold over her life,” court documents read.
“Every time she hid, Mr. Combs’s vast network of corporations and affiliated entities found her, and those who worked for Mr. Combs’s companies implored her to return to him.”
After the lawsuit became public, Cassie, 37, told Pvnew, “After years in silence and darkness. I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
The “Long Way 2 Go Singer” is not alone in her quest to receive justice for the alleged abuse she endured, as fans and even some fellow stars rallied behind her.
“I’m in complete support of her,” Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day, 39, told Pvnew exclusively.
She also shared a message on her Instagram Story, writing, “Been trynna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen
