Shawn Levy believes Taylor Swift’s artistic instinct resembles the work of Steven Spielberg.
The film director referred to the “Cruel Summer” songstress as a “generational voice and creative force” during an interview with Entertainment Weekly published Thursday.
“The depth of her vision for how she wants a creative piece to be, whether it’s a lyric, a melody, a bridge, a concert tour, a video, it’s profound,” he explained.
“It’s profoundly vivid, and she has the strength of her convictions.”
Levy — who further compared Swift to having the same influence as Beyoncé — added that the 12-time Grammy winner’s artistry reminds him of Spielberg’s film philosophy.
“Spielberg was on the set of a movie he produced that I directed, called ‘Real Steel,’ and I said to him, ‘How do you know it’s the right shot?’ His answer was, ‘The way you see it, that makes it right,'” he recalled.
“I feel like that’s something Taylor Swift has figured out really well, because that’s about trusting your instinct.”
The “Stranger Things” producer starred in Swift’s “All Too Well” short film alongside Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien in 2021.
While he didn’t open up about his experience on set with the “Love Story” singer, 33, he said that he respects her approach to directing.
“I think she has the makings of a hell of a director,” Levy said.
Fans will soon get another chance to see Swift’s talents behind the camera in action.
Back in December 2022, Searchlight Pictures announced that she would make her feature film directorial debut with an original script she wrote herself.
Meanwhile, the “Just Married” director, 55, recently hung out with Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game on Oct 1.
Levy snagged a seat inside the star-studded suite at MetLife Stadium, thanks to pals Reynolds and Blake Lively, who are friends with the pop superstar.
“[It was] very fun night but … I’ve known famous people, but Taylor is definitely a culture magnet unlike anything I’ve seen,” the “Free Guy” director told PvNew Friday.
Although he expected other famous people to attend, Levy admitted that he underestimated the pandemonium of Swift’s appearance amid her romance with NFL star Travis Kelce.
“We had a glimmer that maybe there would be others but nothing prepared us for the frenzy of attention that was that outing,” he said.
Despite being a part of massive films such as “Night at the Museum,” the director joked that it was “almost depressing” that he may only be known for that outing rather than his work.
“I could make 50 more hit movies and shows and I’ll still be known as the guy in the orange suede jacket going to the Chiefs-Jets game with Taylor and others,” he said.
In recent weeks, Swifties have quickly turned into football fans as the singer’s connection with Kelce, 34, heats up.
The “Enchanted” hitmaker first caused a massive commotion when she attended a Chiefs game on Sept. 24.
Swift was yet again spotted at Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
Kelce has referred to the singer as his “good luck charm” as his team has been on a winning streak since she started cheering in the crowd.
