Joe Jonas was spotted leaving his first mediation session more than two hours after estranged wife Sophie Turner.
In exclusive photos obtained by Pvnew, the Jonas Brothers member was photographed exiting the meeting in NYC via a service driveway at around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The “Cake by the Ocean” singer, who spent a total of 10 hours at the office building, appeared to be a bit downcast while sitting in the backseat of a black SUV.
While the 34-year-old tried to quietly sneak out of the building, Turner was seen exiting through the main entrance at around 6 p.m.
Like her estranged husband, the “Game of Thrones” star looked a bit exhausted after the long day of going over their divorce proceedings and parenting plans.
She was dressed in a casual outfit consisting of a pair of jeans, a white T-shirt and a green cable knit cardigan.
The 27-year-old kept her long tresses down and opted for minimal makeup.
Earlier in the day, the mother of two was seen leaving Taylor Swift’s luxe Tribeca apartment — where she and her two daughters have been staying — alongside her lawyer.
Although this is only day one of the estranged couple’s four-day mediation, sources told Pvnew Tuesday that Jonas is hoping they will end the week on better terms.
“Joe is committed to making it work with Sophie in mediation and doesn’t want to put up a fight — as long as they can come to a fair agreement on the kids,” the insider shared with us.
Earlier this week, their lawyers met for a pretrial conference, where both parties agreed to set aside time this week to hash out their biggest issues, including custody plans for daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.
The pair have been locked in a turf war ever since Jonas filed for divorce from the English actress last month.
Shortly after the singer filed the paperwork, Turner sued her estranged husband for the return of their children to their “forever home” in England.
According to Turner, Jonas was refusing to hand over the girls’ passports so that she could take them back to her home county, where the couple had agreed to raise their children before their split.
However, the “Waffle House” singer denied “abducting” their daughters, and the pair has since agreed to keep the little ones in New York while their legal battle plays out in court.
Now that they are no longer together, Jonas wants “50-50” joint custody — which would likely mean their daughters would be spending more time on US soil than Turner had originally planned for.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the judge also set their trial for Jan. 2.
