Billie Eilish is schooling us on awards season style.
While the “What Was I Made For” singer has turned to a school uniform aesthetic this awards season, she upped the ante for Sunday’s Academy Awards, wearing a Chanel look and long, glamorous hair on the Oscars 2024 red carpet.
Eilish, 22, sported a classic black-and-white tweed pencil skirt with a black blazer at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater, pairing the skirt with pulled-up white socks and black Mary Janes.

She’s gone with a casual button-down vibe throughout awards season, kicking things off with an oversized Willy Chavarria blazer and khaki skirt with a shirt and tie at the Golden Globes in January.
Eilish switched things up with a long white shirtdress featuring a black bustier-style slipdress on top for the Critics Choice Awards, going back to her scholastic style by sporting a Barbie varsity jacket to the 2024 Grammys in February.
The “Ocean Eyes” singer kept her schoolgirl aesthetic alive at the SAG Awards, wearing a sheer tan sweater vest with a white shirt and tie as she walked the red carpet.
She did switch up her look for the SAGs, however, ditching her dyed red roots for a solid black hair color.
Eilish is nominated for best original song for “What Was I Made For” off the “Barbie” soundtrack, marking the second time she’s been honored in the category.
In 2022, she won the Oscar for her song “No Time to Die” from the James Bond movie of the same name, accepting the award with her songwriter and producer brother, Finneas O’Connell.
Will “Barbie” make Eilish a two-time Oscar winner? Stay tuned as the Academy Awards air at 7 p.m. EST on ABC.
