The 2024 Academy Awards red carpet is proving to be difficult to navigate.
Not long after YouTuber Liza Koshy tumbled to the ground in sky-high heels, Kirsten Dunst walked right into a giant Oscar statue as she posed for cameras Sunday evening.
The misstep occurred as the “Spider-Man” star, 41, posed outside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and turned back at eager photographers while moving on to a new spot.

As she walked with her eyes focused on the flashing camera lights, she failed to notice the giant gold statue before her and bumped right into it.
Luckily, she was able to use the statuette and her husband, Jesse Plemons, to help stabilize herself as she laughed off the blunder.
“I walked right into an Oscar!” she exclaimed in a video shared by PvNew as she placed both hands on Plemons, 35, and turned to cameras once more to pose for additional shots.
The pair could barely keep it together as Dunst whispered into the “Friday Night Lights” actor’s ear, making them both giggle.

The former child star looked elegant at the event in a sleek spaghetti strap gown by Gucci. She contrasted the white column dress by packing a punch of color with red lipstick.
Her signature blond locks were softly curled and pushed to the side.

Plemons, meanwhile, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo paired with a bow tie.
His recent film, “Killers of the Flower Moon,” is up for 10 awards, including best picture, best director (Martin Scorsese), best actress (Lily Gladstone) and best supporting actor (Robert De Niro).
Dunst was nominated for her first Oscar in 2022 for her supporting role in “The Power of the Dog.” She played Plemons’ love interest in the film, and he was nominated for his supporting role as well. Neither came out victorious.

The pair have worked together several times since meeting on the set of “Fargo” in 2015. They are about a month away from releasing their next project, “Civil War,” which is described as “an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride through a near-future fractured America balanced on the razor’s edge” on its website.
“Because we fell in love on a set, we fell in love creatively first,” Dunst recalled to Marie Claire earlier this week. “I think we’ll always come back to that, in a very not-involving-our-real-life way.”
Pvnew exclusively revealed in January 2017 that Dunst and Plemons got engaged, but they were in no rush to get married.
Instead of walking down the aisle right away, they began their family, welcoming two sons: Ennis Howard, now 5, and James Robert, now 2.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Jamaica in July 2022 at the luxury GoldenEye resort in Ocho Rios.
