Jaime King and Kyle Newman have settled their divorce after a tumultuous legal battle that lasted two years.

“It was an emotional day at the courthouse yesterday, as Jaime and Kyle sat down in a room and hammered out the details of their settlement, putting their two children first,” Newman’s lawyer, Garry M. Gekht, exclusively told Pvnew on Wednesday.

“It was truly touching to see them get along again after years of acrimony — Jaime even joined Kyle to get coffee across the street from the courthouse as I was writing up the settlement agreement.”

Gekht told us that the former couple also “hugged each other” as they left the courthouse.

“I am hopeful that this will be a clean beginning for them,” he explained. “They both understand they will be in each other’s lives forever, and that their children deserve nothing but the best from both of them.”

According to court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court of California Tuesday and obtained by Pvnew Wednesday, the exes and their respective attorneys met to engage in settlement talks and reached a signed agreement within hours.

The exact details of the settlement were not disclosed. Reps and attorneys did not immediately return Pvnew’s requests for comment.

King first filed for divorce from Newman on May 18, 2020, after 13 years of marriage. She requested a partial restraining order related to child custody and visitation at the time.

“Kyle was deeply saddened by Jaime’s attempt to obtain court orders based solely on false claims without providing him any opportunity to respond,” the filmmaker’s rep previously told Pvnew.

“As a result, he was extremely pleased that the judge nevertheless permitted their children to remain in his care.”

The “White Chicks” star and “Fanboys” director’s legal fight continued to sour since then, with the latter accusing the former of being a “chronic drug addict.” The two share two sons: James Knight, 9, and Leo Thames, 8, the latter of whom is Taylor Swift’s godson.

In court documents obtained by Pvnew at the time, Newman alleged that King refused “to acknowledge that she has a problem, let alone seek meaningful treatment for such problem.”

He even claimed that their youngest son Leo was “born addicted to opiates” as a result of his ex-wife’s alleged drug habits.

Newman also claimed in the court docs that King did enter rehab at one point in early 2020 after her pals allegedly staged an intervention but checked out shortly after against medical staff’s recommendations.

He sought primary physical custody of their two sons, as a result of those claims, but shared legal custody. The “Barely Lethal” director also wanted his ex to regularly get drug tested.

King denied the allegations, telling us via her rep at the time, “This is another vicious, failed attempt of Kyle to continue his abuse of Jaime and manipulate the court system.

“Today Kyle was denied all requests for emergency orders and the judge granted Jaime shared legal custody of their two children. The temporary domestic violence restraining order remains in place to protect Jaime.”

In October 2022, Newman, 47, claimed he had gone broke trying to support his kids on his own because King, 44, had allegedly not fulfilled her court-mandated child and spousal support payments.

The “Hart of Dixie” actress was ordered to pay her ex $429 per month in child support or $1,000 in spousal support, per court docs we previously obtained.

Newman, who welcomed another child with his girlfriend in 2021, claimed he had to stop working to raise his sons with King.

He also accused her of selling their family home and using $500,000 from their community property retirement accounts without his consent.

Newman also argued that King should have to pay $700,000 in legal fees and a $50,000 fine.

TMZ was first to report the news of the settlement.
