Brittany Cartwright wiped Jax Taylor’s last name from her Instagram page amid their separation.
Cartwright previously listed her name as “Brittany Cartwright Cauchi” on the social media platform, using Taylor’s legal surname, but it now reads, “Brittany Cartwright” with a yellow heart emoji.
“Just a Kentucky girl livin in a beautiful world,” the rest of her bio reads, in addition to brief shout-outs to the estranged couple’s 2-year-old son, Cruz, as well as their “When Reality Hits” podcast and new Bravo show, “The Valley.”
Cartwright, 35, made the change after announcing she and Taylor, 44, had split after nearly five years of marriage.

A timeline of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s rocky relationship
“Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said in Thursday’s episode of “When Reality Hits.”
Cartwright admitted she has “had a particularly rough year this past year,” but she also explained that she does not want to “get into too many details right now because this is still very hard to talk about.”
“I’m taking things one day at a time. I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz,” she added.
Shortly after Cartwright shared the marital update, Taylor claimed to Pvnew exclusively that the “Vanderpump Rules” alums were living together again.
“She was in [another] house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now,” he claimed Thursday.

Taylor further shared that there is no “evil or nastiness” between them as they “figure out” what is next for their relationship.
“We’re just spending some time apart and just trying to reassess, you know, our situation,” he said. “We have a child involved, and we just wanna do what’s best for our kid.”
However, just one day later, Pvnew confirmed that Cartwright moved into a new home after the lease on her first short-term rental ended.
“They’re not on a path to reconciliation,” a source told us.
The insider added that Cartwright moved out “about a month ago” and she and Taylor have been “taking time apart” ever since.
Cartwright then reiterated to TMZ Saturday that her estranged husband is “not trying” to save their marriage.
“It’s Jax, so he’s not really trying that much right now,” she said. “Whenever you fight with somebody for so long, there’s only so much you can take, and you know, I deserve better, Cruz deserves better.”
Cartwright added that her priority is maintaining a “good co-parenting relationship,” so living separately from Taylor is “the best situation for me right now.”
“If he switches some things and changes some things about his life, then maybe we can get back together,” she said. “But right now, I don’t know.”
The Bravolebrities have gone through several ups and downs in their relationship since they began dating in 2015. The duo wed in June 2019 in front of cameras, and they welcomed their son, Cruz, in April 2021.
