Co-parenting at Carbone!
Bill Gates and his ex-wife, Melinda Gates, reunited at the New York City hot spot Wednesday night for their daughter Phoebe’s 21st birthday party.
The Microsoft co-founder, 67, wore a tan sweater and light-wash jeans to the bash, while Melinda, 59, paired a white dress with pink heels and a matching purse.
The former couple’s youngest daughter went full glam for her celebration in a pink minidress.
The birthday girl accessorized with nude heels, her hair slicked back in a high ponytail.
Bill and Melinda, who are also the parents of daughter Jennifer, 27, and son Rory, 24, both honored Phoebe with sweet social media posts on Thursday.
“You’ll always be my little girl, but watching you do big things has never surprised me,” Bill captioned throwback photos. “I’m so proud of you.”
Melinda, for her part, posted “a mom-daughter chat about turning 21″ in which Phoebe asked for words of wisdom over FaceTime.
“You know yourself already a lot,” Melinda advised in the video. “Don’t ever forget who you are.
“You’re incredibly good at making friends,” she added. “Knowing who your close group of friends are, your most trusted advisers, always keep those friends close. That way you’ll never go wrong in life.”
Melinda and Bill were married for 27 years before they called it quits in May 2021. Their divorce was finalized three months later.
The exes recently reunited in May for their eldest child’s graduation from Columbia University.
They arrived separately from the rest of the audience and stepped out shortly after Jennifer received her master’s degree in public health, an eyewitness told Pvnew at the time.
Two months prior, the equestrian and her husband, Nayel Nassar, welcomed Bill and Melinda’s first grandchild, a baby girl named Leila.
