This is even better than mommy-and-me dressing.
Brooke Shields’ lookalike daughter Grier Henchy, 17, wore her mom’s 22-year-old dress for the opening night performance of her one-woman show at Café Carlyle.
Grier, whose dad is director Chris Henchy, stunned in the golden dress from the early 2000s covered in metallic sequins with a sheer bottom, pairing the now-vintage look with neutral makeup.
The teenager, who’s signed with IMG Models, wore her long auburn hair in loose waves and ditched her jewelry to guarantee all eyes were on the gorgeous embellished gown.
Grier’s actress mom originally wore the same metallic dress at Marshall Field’s Fash Bash at Chicago Theater in 2003.
The “Blue Lagoon” star looked equally glamorous in an Isaac Mizrahi dress for opening night for the first performance of her one-woman show, “Previously Owned by Brooke Shields,” and shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram.
“Opening night… what an unbelievable honor,” Shields told her followers, before thanking everyone who came to the show and asking, “Who’s coming?” The show shares stories about celebrities including Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor.
While Greer might be following in Brooke’s fashion footsteps, the “Pretty Baby” actress had her doubts about the teen hitting the runway.
In June, the former Calvin Klein model opened up about her daughter’s decision to model on “Live with Kelly and Mark.”
“I fought it for so long,” Brooke admitted, before adding, “It’s such a different industry now than it was” and calling the current modeling industry a “rat race” and backstage “just brutal.”
“I never did runway, I don’t think I would’ve been able to handle it,” Brooke confessed. Despite the initial misgivings, the pair modeled together for a Victoria’s Secret campaign in April 2022.
It looks like Grier, who often gives her mom fashion advice, is ready to step into her model mom’s shoes and incredible closet.
