She’s in her brown era.
Meghan Markle kicked off another day at the Invictus Games 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany Thursday in her usual neutral style, wearing a silk blouse and wide-legged trousers as she joined Prince Harry for a meeting with NATO representatives.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, debuted a brown silk blouse from L’Agence ($345) for today’s outing at the games, pairing it with the same wide-legged Gabriela Hearst trousers she wore to the One Young World Summit last September.
She added some equally luxe accessories, shading her eyes with oversized black Miu Miu sunglasses ($237, was $316) with gold detail and keeping the brown theme going with Manolo Blahnik suede pumps ($399, was $725).
Markle chose simple gold hoops, wearing several rings including an all-diamond version ($2,800) of her favorite Shiffon pinky ring, which also has a meaningful tie to sports as proceeds from the piece support female athletes.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry wore his own chic shades, looking smart in a navy suit and white button-up shirt along with his signature brown suede shoes.
The monochrome-happy duchess also wore another neutral look for the games Thursday, changing into a white sleeveless sweater vest from Ralph Lauren ($110) as she attended a volleyball competition.
While Thursday’s first look was ultra-luxe, her volleyball outfit was decidedly more casual, with the duchess rocking white skinny jeans by frame and carrying a striped navy-and-white sweater in her hand.
However, she stuck with her formula of mixing more casual looks with designer shoes, pairing the white ‘fit with black ankle-strap Aquazurra flats ($795).
Markle has been sporting a mix of high/low pieces at the Invictus Games this week, wearing a sleeveless cashmere J.Crew sweater ($98) with Hermès sneakers ($790). to take in a swimming competition Wednesday and another J.Crew sweater ($158) and pleated white Staud shorts ($175) with Chanel flats for an earlier event.
The day is still young, so expect more outfit changes from the duchess.
