A-Rod is slimming down.
Alex Rodriguez praised his girlfriend for helping him drop more than 30 pounds.
The former MLB player, 48, said in a new interview that Jac Cordeiro changed his and his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis’ lives with her fitness program.
“Look, she’s been incredible for me and for Cynthia,” he told Us Weekly Monday.
“[Jac is] the only person that can come into co-parents and make us both better. Cynthia has got in incredible shape following the JacFit program, [and] I’ve lost 32 pounds following her program,” he gushed.
Rodriguez, who shares two daughters with Scurtis, gushed that Cordeiro is so “caring” because she is a former nurse.
“She’s used to taking care of people that are sick,” he said.
“What I love about what she’s done in JacFit and the amount of people that she’s influenced is the reaction that I see from people to her. It’s really mind-blowing,” he went on.
“I see what she’s done in my life, with my health [and with] Cynthia to name a few. She comes at it from a very proactive [place] and helps you get in tremendous shape so you don’t have to hopefully be sick and prevent any type of health issues.”
Rodriguez and Cordeiro were first romantically linked in October 2022 after they were seen walking hand in hand on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Calif.
A source close to the couple told Pvnew at the time that the ex-athlete was “enjoying spending time” with the fitness guru.
“Friends say he’s very happy and enjoying [their] time together. He’s enjoying spending time with her. She’s great! She’s a former nurse and a mother of two,” the insider dished.
“He’s great with her and really happy,” the source added.
The pair eventually made their romance Instagram-official when the Canadian workout whiz posed for a snap with Rodriguez and his daughters, Natasha, 18, and Ella, 15.
The group were all smiles in front of a Christmas tree in New York last December, just three months after they started dating.
“From our hearts to yours, Merry Christmas,” Rodriguez captioned the photo, adding the hashtags “family,” “joy” and “grateful.”
Rodriguez wed Scurtis in 2002. However, she filed for divorce in 2008, citing “emotional abandonment” of their children and infidelity as the reasons for the breakdown of their marriage.
He later proposed to Jennifer Lopez, but the pair broke up in 2021. The “On the Floor” singer, 54, went on to marry her on-again fiancé, Ben Affleck.
Despite their messy split, Rodriguez wished the Lopez the best in her new marriage.
“I wish her and the children, who are smart and beautiful and wonderful, I wish them the very best,” he said on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”
