Nobody comes for Brynn Whitfield and gets away with it.
The outspoken “Real Housewives of New York City” star is tearing into internet trolls who circulated rumors that she is some sort of escort or sugar baby.
Whitfield took to her Instagram Story Friday to share a scathing DM she fired off to a Bravo fan account that had shared the following tweet: “Brynn, you mad because Jenna [Lyons] doesn’t have to log into Seeking Arrangement in order to afford a business class seat? Cuz that’s exactly what it’s giving.”
In the screenshot, the Indiana native called the person behind the account “disgusting” and “super gross” for “reposting things about [her] being an escort or sugar baby,” adding, “You should be ashamed.”
Whitfield — who has been candid on the show about her difficult upbringing — informed the critic that she has a career that is “more decorated than most” and a résumé that is “5 pages long.”
The Purdue University graduate, 36, explained that she has worked hard to get to where she is now and gushed over getting to “do this amazing thing called consulting, which is what [she does] now for two skincare brands.”
Whitfield went on to claim that there were “countless days” she was “working so much” while Season 14 of the reality series was in production that she “couldn’t even film” with her co-stars.
Unfortunately for the Bravolebrity, her accolades have yet to be highlighted publicly, which she said she has “flagged” to the network “time & time again.”
“It’s out of my control if you don’t get to see me working, and only see one side of me,” she wrote atop a screenshot of an email she had sent to a Bravo exec about her “career being omitted” from her cast bio.
She suggested a bio touting her “wealth of experience working on award-winning campaigns for global brands” and “managing and executing strategic media relations programs.”
Because Whitfield’s work life has not been shown thus far on “RHONY” — and her seemingly affluent lifestyle has — she decided to also address speculation that she is “rich.”
“Quite the opposite,” she insisted, going on to inform fans that she “kept saying” during her audition process for the show, “I’m neither married nor rich, and I don’t own a house. I think you’re talking to the wrong New Yorker.”
But likely won over by her wit and charm, producers offered the notorious flirt that coveted apple.
“I’ve worked super hard and made a modest life for myself,” Whitfield — who rents an apartment in the West Village — explained. “It’s not rocket science you guys: Work in corporate America + No KIDS + no HUSBAND = money for yourself.”
“I hope and pray for the day when I have all the expenses that comes w/ kids, husbands, houses and dogs,” she concluded. “But that day hasn’t come yet, so in the interim, I’m going to enjoy this bit of security & freedom while I still have it.”
