Hilary Swank is luxuriating in motherhood times two.
The Oscar-winning actress gushed about what it was like becoming a first-time mom at the age of 48 in an exclusive new interview with Pvnew.
“It’s way more joyful,” Swank, who gave birth to twins last year, told us earlier this week at the red carpet premiere of her new film, “Ordinary Angels,” at the SVA Theater in New York City.
“It’s way more fun, it’s way more exciting than I ever imagined,” she continued. “I always thought it would be extraordinary, but it’s way more.”
The “Boys Don’t Cry” star, now 49, welcomed her twins – a boy and a girl – in April 2023 with husband Philip Schneider, whom she married in 2018.

Hilary Swank stripped down for nude maternity shoot before twins’ birth
She revealed her pregnancy news during an October 2022 appearance on “Good Morning America.”
However, it wasn’t until Valentine’s Day of this year that Swank finally revealed the names of her little ones.
The “Million Dollar Baby” actress announced their cute monikers – Aya and Ohm – by posting a sweet pic of them sitting on the beach with their names spelled out in green sea glass behind them.
And even though she’s an older mom, Swank dismissed the idea that she may feel more tired than younger mothers.
“I think there’s exhaustion no matter how old you are,” she opined to Pvnew. “You can be in your 20s and still be exhausted being a new mom. I think it comes with the territory.”
Aside from motherhood, Swank is currently busy promoting her new “Ordinary Angels” movie.
The Jon Gunn-directed flick is based on the true story of a hairdresser named Sharon Stevens (Swank) from Louisville, Ky. Together with the community, she helps widowed father Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson) when she learns his 5-year-old daughter, Michelle (Emily Mitchell), is in urgent need of a liver transplant.
Swank told us that she personally resonated with the movie’s message of kindness.
“I always try and be like that,” she said. “I think it’s important to live a life of kindness. It doesn’t mean you always do it.”
Swank added that she tries to live by the age-old golden rule.
“I know it sounds cliché, but [treat people] how we want to be treated. [Then] I think we can find kindness again.”
