She’s only human.
Days before Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner, the “Game of Thrones” alum appeared “happy and relaxed” partying “without a care in the world” at DropShot bar in Digbeth, Birmingham, according to the manager.
“She was great company and a really good laugh,” Herzog Stephenson told The Daily Mail Thursday. “You would never have thought that she was going through a divorce.
“She never once spoke about her husband or kids and never mentioned anything about getting divorced,” he continued, saying the news a “shock” when it made headlines over the weekend.
However, Stephenson clarified, “It also made sense because it was obvious when I was with Sophie that she wanted to return to her days of partying. I sensed that she was missing those times.”
TMZ reported Tuesday that the 27-year-old actress’ partying allegedly played a factor in her and the Jonas Brothers member’s breakup after four years of marriage.
Days before the singer filed for divorce in Miami, since-deleted footage went viral of the “Game of Thrones” alum downing shots at DropShot with her friends.
What you need to know about Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's split
Joe Jonas filed for divorce from wife Sophie Turner on Sept. 5, 2023, after four years of marriage.
The couple have two children together.
A source claims the pair had “many disagreements,” and the divorce was a “last resort” for Jonas.
Jonas is seeking “shared parental responsibility” with his estranged wife.
The children are said to live primarily with Jonas, and the singer is said to be caring for them “pretty much all the time.”
Turner’s penchant for partying is believed to have factored into the split, and a source said the pair have “very different lifestyles.”
Turner is suing Jonas to return their two daughters to England.
The actress claims she found out her estranged husband filed for divorce “through the media.“
Jonas blasted the lawsuit, saying it goes against an “amicable co-parenting setup.”
“Just me and my new mate @sophiet out for a few bevvies,” Stephenson captioned the Sunday Instagram upload. “Soph stopped by my spot to test out my punch machine. Said I made her the best #mojito ever so I’ll take that.”
Turner and Jonas, 32, took to social media Wednesday to confirm their split with a joint statement.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the estranged couple wrote. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
The duo have been together since 2016, tying the knot in 2019. They share two young daughters.
After reporting has emerged that the musician pulled the plug after seeing his wife do or say something on a Ring camera — and he was photographed dining with their little ones without his wedding ring Wednesday — fans have come to Turner’s defense.
“Blah blah it’s always the woman’s fault! Tired of this narrative,” one Instagram user wrote in a Wednesday comment.
Another “#TeamSophie” member added, “Lord did he hire Kris Jenner for his publicist? He’s Kardashian level spinning this shit.”
The DNCE member is currently on a Five Albums, One Night world tour with brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas, while Turner films “Joan” across the pond.
“Divorce was the last resort for Joe,” a source told Pvnew Tuesday of the shocking split. “He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls.
“Joe finally reached a point where he felt that he had exhausted all options to salvage the marriage,” the insider claimed.
