Jamie Foxx appeared to be in high spirits as he left Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with his girlfriend months after suffering a health scare.
The “Django Unchained” actor, 55, was photographed loading a red duffel bag into a car Monday while chatting with Alyce Huckstepp.
For the travel day, Foxx cut a casual figure in a white Dolce and Gabbana sweater, which he paired with a black tee and black trousers. The actor accessorized the look with chunky white sneakers, aviator-style sunglasses and a cream fedora.
Huckstepp also opted for an equally laid-back ensemble featuring a cropped white tee (sans bra), multicolored pants and dark shades. She also rocked a brown fedora and sunnies while carrying a green smoothie.
The couple was getting ready to fly back to Los Angeles via private jet after spending Labor Day weekend by the beach.
After arriving in Cabo on Friday, they didn’t waste any time hitting the beach. Huckstepp was photographed changing out of her travel clothes and into a plunging white tank top with black shorts.
For this part, the actor opted for a simple white tee, and even grabbed a pair of binoculars, before taking a stroll along the oceanfront.
While it remains unclear how long Foxx and Huckstepp have been dating, the two were spotted packing on PDA as early as May 2022 during a trip to Cannes.
The vacation comes months after Foxx was rushed to the hospital due to a “medical complication.”
His oldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, revealed the news in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the statement began. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
It took over four months for Foxx to be seen again but, in July, he was spotted smiling and waving from a boat. Shortly after, he was photographed golfing with friends.
Later that month, he spoke out for the first time about his hospital stay — still choosing to keep any specific details under wraps.
“I went through something I thought I would never, ever go through,” Foxx said, letting his 16 million followers know he’s not “blind” or “paralyzed.”
“I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear an update but, to be honest with you, I didn’t want you to see me like that, man,” he admitted while tearing up.
“I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie or a television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.”
Nonetheless, he assured fans he was on the mend and would be back to work soon.
