Ashley Tisdale is being sued over a motor vehicle accident that took place last year and allegedly left the other party with severe injuries.

Lina Gonzales filed a complaint on Aug. 31, obtained by Pvnew Tuesday, in which she accuses the former Disney star of “gross negligence” due to the Sept. 6, 2022, car crash on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The woman claims Tisdale, 38, drove in a “negligent and reckless manner” and blames her for the accident.

Gonzales’ attorney, Michael R. Parker, gave TMZ more details about what allegedly occurred, claiming his client was waiting to make a left turn when the “High School Musical” star changed lanes and therefore caused the collision.

The lawyer also alleged that Tisdale made a “big fuss” and started calling Gonzales names, which were not specified.

He also told the outlet that his client has “severe neck and back injuries” as a result of the crash.

Pvnew has also reached out Parker for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

Gonzales’ complaint claims she also suffered wage loss, loss of use of property, hospital and medical expenses, general damage, property damage and loss of earning capacity.

Parker told TMZ that the medical expenses total around $140,000.

Court documents also note that Gonzales suffered loss of society, love, protection, companionship and consortium due to the crash.

It appears that the vehicle Tisdale used was either leased or rented, so the plaintiff also names those who “entrusted” the car to the actress as possible co-defendants who will share the “responsibility” of her injuries and damages.

Gonazles is seeking compensatory damages. A final status conference for this case is scheduled for Feb. 13, 2025, and a non-jury trial date is set for Feb. 27, 2025.

Pvnew has reached out to Tisdale’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

However, a spokesperson for the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” alum denied to TMZ that she ever used any aggressive words in the aftermath of the accident.

The rep instead claims that Tisdale and Gonzales immediately exchanged information and “moved on.”
