Usher is headlining this year’s halftime show — and sporting headline-making fashion.
The star hit the stage at the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday, wearing a bejeweled multi-layer white Dolce & Gabbana look — which he ended up stripping off, of course.
The 45-year-old wore a white suit covered up with a gem-trimmed coat for his big moment, channeling Michael Jackson while wearing coordinating crystal-covered white gloves and a huge crystal brooch on his jacket.
The hitmaker removed his suit jacket to reveal a sparkling silver sleeveless shirt, then later peeled off the layers to reveal a simple tank top and his diamond “U” pendant by Jacquie Aiche before going totally shirtless
He treated fans to a medley of his hits before being joined on stage by Alicia Keys, who sported a red gem-covered corseted catsuit from the Italian fashion house.
He later changed into a black and blue moto-inspired look by Off-White as he was joined by even more collaborators, including Will.i.am, Lil Jon and Ludacris.
The sparkling ‘fit was covered in 394,000 crystals, per the brand, and he also strapped on a pair of $1,450 Flipper’s Quadz by Usher rollerskates as he roller-danced across the stage.
The “Confessions” singer — who prepped for the show with Danucera skincare products — announced the big show back in September with a video starring Kim Kardashian (who was also present at Sunday’s showdown between the Chiefs and 49ers).
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” the 45-year-old singer said in a statement at the time.
“I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” he added.
Sunday marks his second time on the Super Bowl stage, as he also appeared as a guest during the Black Eyed Peas’ 2011 halftime show.
It’s been a busy month for the star; in addition to prepping for the big gig, he also starred in a Skims underwear campaign that dropped last week.
He stripped down to his skivvies for the steamy shots, which showed off off the brand’s soon-to-be-restocked men’s collection.
Skims cotton underthings aren’t the only products he swears by behind-the-scenes, however, as the star’s also praised several skincare products — from a cult-favorite spray to Chanel cream — as stage-ready must-haves over the years.
Plus, after the game he may have an even bigger surprise: Usher and longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas ahead of the game.
