Nearly two years after calling it quits, Joe Gatto and his estranged wife, Bessy Gatto, have revealed their reconciliation.
The “Impractical Jokers” alum shocked his Instagram followers by posting a smiling beach snap with his partner on Saturday.
“Ten years ago when we started out, I could have never imagined the absolute crazy ride with highs and lows our marriage has endured,” the comedian, 47, began his lengthy caption. “But there was always love. And me knowing that there is no one else I’d want to be my person.”
After praising the 41-year-old’s “compassion,” “resilience” and “giggle,” he thanked her for their decade together.
“I’m happy and hopeful that we will be able to get a few more in because we have proven with compassion, forgiveness and an open heart we can do this. Together,” he continued. “Looking forward to more of it all, including laughing together, memory making with our incredible family and of course…dogs.”
He concluded the social media upload by referring to his wife as “Mrs. Gatto.”
Joe’s rep did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
Five days prior to his post, Bessy shared a throwback photo with Joe and penned a similarly touching tribute.
“only a few days away from our 10 year wedding anniversary, I think of all the changes we have gone through, good and bad,” she wrote on Monday. “At the end, I would not change a single thing. Everything that happens and everything that we go through brings us one step closer to where we are meant to be. And I truly believe this is exactly where I am meant to be in my life.”
Bessy gushed that she has “never been happier, more content, and more hopeful for the future than now,” adding that she loves Joe more than she did on their September 2013 wedding day.
“The laughter, the tears, the ups and downs, the sacrifices and forgiveness that we have gone through, all of those things have brought us to where we are today,” she continued. “I can’t wait to go on more adventures.”
In January 2022, the duo announced their split, with Joe simultaneously revealing his “Impractical Jokers” departure.
“Alongside my friends, I’ve devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn’t be prouder of what has been accomplished,” he wrote in a statement at the time. “However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away.”
The pair kept a united front while co-parenting their two kids and even attended an Imagine Dragons concert together the following month.
As Twitter users celebrated Bessy and Joe’s rekindled romance over the weekend, many expressed hope that the actor will return to his truTV show with James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn and Sal Vulcano.
“First off, congrats,” one fan wrote. “Second off. Does this mean you are coming back to ‘Impractical Jokers?’ It’s not the same without you.”
Others focused on the couple getting back together, with one gushing, “I just cried like a baby. These two deserve nothing but love.”
