Brittany Mahomes is red-hot.
The mom of two made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut as a member of the rookie class for 2024, rocking a series of all-red looks in honor of husband Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs — and the first photos were released Friday.
Lensed by Derek Kettela in San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize, the blond bombshell, 28, looks stunning in a strappy red Mugler one-piece swimsuit ($660 $396) covered in bold cutouts.
In a behind-the-scenes video posted on social media, the former soccer player shows even more skin in a variety of crimson swimwear, including a Natalia Fedner bikini, a crocheted look featuring rosettes, a teeny-tiny two-piece styled with a cowboy hat and more.
However, fans will have to wait until the 60th anniversary issue hits newsstands in May for a full look at Mahomes’ spread.
“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” she said in an interview with the magazine. “As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
But she also had some words that were just as fiery as her scarlet swimwear, seemingly hitting back at haters who have criticized her over the years.
“Be confident in who you are and be unapologetically yourself,” she said in the interview.
“People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters. Whether that’s health and wellness, being a great wife or mom, or career goals, being the best version of you is the most important thing you can be.”
She shared a similar sentiment on social media Thursday, writing on her Instagram Story, “I’m here to tell you. People will dislike you. People will love you. Don’t let any of that define you. KEEP SHINING and being YOU.”
Fellow WAG Kelly Stafford penned a lengthy note in which she defended Mahomes.
“These are just a few of the many women who I look up to … the ones that have used their position in this life to build businesses, give back and overall do good in this world,” she wrote in an Instagram post that featured Mahomes as the first slide and also included football fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk and Ayesha Curry.
No matter what, Mahomes will surely have the last laugh on Sunday Feb. 11, when she returns to the sidelines to cheer on the Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.
