Jeter’s got jokes.
Derek Jeter poked fun at his wife, Hannah Jeter, in a new interview, saying their kids remind him most of their mom when they act “loud and whiny.”
The retired MLB player quipped to Us Weekly Thursday, “When they’re quiet, calm and listening, then it reminds me of me.”
The couple became parents in August 2017 when their eldest daughter, Bella, now 6, arrived.
Hannah gave birth to another daughter, Story, now 4, in January 2019.
A third daughter, River, now 1, and son Kaius, now 3 months, were born in December 2021 and May 2023, respectively, via surrogate.
The model, 33, explained to the magazine that their “biggest adjustment was going from two to three kids” — but noted their minds might change in time.
“Because [our son] doesn’t move around much, I’ll probably say something different [down the line], but it’s a lot,” Hannah explained.
Derek, 49, chimed in, predicting that their household will have a “different dynamic” with a baby boy around.
“All of a sudden, here’s this little man in the world,” the former New York Yankees shortstop explained. “For me, it’s all new.
“It’s going to be fun experiencing things for the first time with him, different activities, different interests,” he continued. “But all our kids are different, and they’re all special in their own right. So I’m looking forward to it.”
Derek and Hannah, who have been married since July 2016, moved their family to Florida in 2017.
“We’re enjoying life and raising our family here,” he gushed to Haute Living two years later. “We’re now in our own home, and it makes it easy to move around, play in the yard, enjoy the outdoors, etc.”
Since relocating, the athlete has also made his way to Instagram, sharing his first social media upload in June 2022.
Derek often gives glimpses of his life as a doting dad on the app, from getting his nails painted to attending his Hall of Fame induction with the little ones.
