John Mellencamp has a special woman in his life.
The “Hurts So Good” singer, 71, revealed during an interview on “Club Random with Bill Maher” Monday that he met his new girlfriend “unexpectedly” seven months ago and “she has not left [his] side” since.
Yet when Maher, 67, asked for more information about the mystery woman, the rocker chose to keep her identity a secret.
“She’s a beautiful 57-year-old woman who just walked into my apartment in New York unexpectedly,” he said.
“She was with a couple of friends. She walked in. She didn’t know I was going to be there. I didn’t know she was there. We met each other.”
Pvnew exclusively revealed the mystery woman to be socialite Kristin Kehrberg.
Elsewhere in the interview, Mellencamp revealed his girlfriend has “never” gotten angry with him.
“It’s so hard to believe, I know. She has a really high threshold for tolerance,” he joked.
However, the “Jack & Diane” artist previously sang a different tune about his relationship with ex Meg Ryan, whom he dated on and off from 2011 until 2019.
Speaking to Esquire in June, the Grammy winner admitted he was a “sh—ty boyfriend” to the “When Harry Met Sally” star.
“She’s a great girl,” he said of his former fiancée. “I love Meg Ryan. I went with her for 10 years. She doesn’t love me so much.”
The pair, who began dating following their respective divorces, initially called it quits in 2014 due to long distance.
Three years later, Mellencamp famously reflected on their romance during a 2017 appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” claiming Ryan, 61, hated him “to death.”
Despite her alleged disdain for the singer-songwriter, the pair reconciled later that year and announced their engagement in 2018.
However, they broke up for good the following year — which Mellencamp believed led to a lot of growth for the actress.
“I think she’s learned how to do everything, and I’ve learned how to do nothing,” he confessed to Esquire.
Since their split, Mellencamp has been in a handful of short-lived relationships, including with realtor Natasha Barrett, whom he dated for six months in 2021.
The singer has been married three times and has five children, including former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp.
Meanwhile, Ryan — who has two children — was previously married to Dennis Quaid.
