Ben Affleck was spotted enjoying a peaceful moment to himself by taking a quick smoke break before hopping back into his fatherly duties.
The “Argo” actor, 51, was seen puffing on a cigarette in the gloomy Los Angeles weather on Tuesday while waiting for son Samuel, 11, to finish up at basketball practice.
Affleck looked downcast as he inhaled his tobacco while simultaneously scrolling on his phone.
The “Jersey Girl” alum opted for comfort in a blue crewneck sweater layered over a light blue T-shirt, dark baggy jeans and sneakers.
Meanwhile, his son was seen walking alongside his dad while wearing navy Nike shorts and a yellow “junior” Los Angeles Lakers jersey. Samuel carried a basketball under his arm and was also wearing a backpack.
Affleck shares Samuel, as well as Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, whom he was married to from 2005 to 2018.
The Academy Award-winner married Jennifer Lopez in 2022 after the pair rekindled their relationship from the early 2000s.
Since then, Lopez and Affleck have blended their families as the “Dinero” singer shares 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Lopez, 54, and Anthony, 55, were married for 10 years before divorcing in 2014 and the “Vivir Mi Vida” artist is now married to Nadia Ferreira.
The “Marry Me” actress has previously gushed over Affleck’s parenting skills and how much of a family man he can be.
“Oh, my God. He’s an amazing dad. It brings tears to my eyes,” she said on “The View” last May.
“He’s just so in tune,” J.Lo continued. “He’s such a brilliant guy anyway, like he’s so learned in so many things, and you can just tell that when he had his kids, he must have read every book and everything that you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it.”
Lopez also addressed Affleck’s habit of looking grumpy during their public outings together, oftentimes inspiring memes and speculation of tensions between the pair.
“Ben is doing all right. You don’t need to worry about Ben, let me just tell you,” Lopez told “Entertainment Tonight” at the 2024 Golden Globes, calling him “good” and “happy.”
“He is here, he is nominated,” she added. “He’s like, ‘I’m chilling.’ I don’t understand what people are so pressed for. They don’t pick up on my face.”
Lopez and Affleck even joined forces to troll critics who poked fun at the actor’s “miserable” expression at the 2023 Grammys.
The singer shared Affleck’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl ad to her Instagram in which he responded to news reports calling him “The boredest man in the world.”
Fans were entertained by the razz and commended the couple for making light of the headlines.
