Kroy Biermann is still “moving forward” with his divorce from Kim Zolciak despite the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum wearing her wedding ring in public again.
Although a distressed-looking Zolciak removed her symbolic jewelry for a church service Saturday, she was photographed at LAX airport just two days later with it back on her left hand.
Despite the reality star’s apparent indecision about her ring, which caused some fans to speculate that the estranged couple were reconciling once more, Biermann’s attorney said Monday that the former NFL player is still forging ahead with their dissolution.
“No, at this time, he is still moving forward with the divorce action,” Marlys A. Bergstrom told TMZ.
Zolciak’s attorney didn’t immediately return Pvnew’s request for comment.
The former “Don’t Be Tardy” stars filed for divorce from each other in May after 11 years of marriage, and the split rapidly became increasingly acrimonious.
Somehow, after they leveled accusations against each other that ranged from substance abuse issues to a gambling addiction, the pair reconciled, calling off their divorce in July and putting on a united front with their kids at church.
However, the duo’s problems didn’t dissipate, and Biermann, 37, filed for divorce from the Kashmere Kollections founder, 45, for the second time just six weeks later on Aug. 24, stating that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
Biermann requested sole legal and sole physical custody of their four minor children: Kroy Jr. “KJ”, 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9.
During their marriage, Biermann legally adopted Zolciak’s two older daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, but given that they are now adults, they are not part of the custody battle.
TMZ previously described the twosome’s marriage as a roller coaster, with Biermann and Zolciak being on good terms one day and then “at each other’s throats” and having “blowups” the next.
One of the issues they allegedly had been feuding about was leaked bodycam footage from when law enforcement responded to their home in May.
In the videos, Zolciak told police officers that her now-estranged husband was “f–king crazy” after claiming he had locked her out of their house.
Biermann also shared his side of the story, telling the officers he had “kindly” handled the situation while also calling Zolciak a “narcissist” who was using the ordeal as a “manipulation” tactic.
The police left without incident.
