The purrfect addition to the Parker-Broderick household.
Sarah Jessica Parker and her family have adopted the kitten her “And Just Like That…” character, Carrie Bradshaw, rescued in Season 2 of the Max drama series.
The actress, 58, revealed the exciting news to her Instagram followers Tuesday, cheekily sharing, “If he looks familiar, that’s because he is.”
She noted that the gray feline’s moniker is not “Shoe,” which is what Bradshaw named the little guy when Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) gave him to her.
“His off-camera name is Lotus,” Parker explained in the caption of a 10-slide carousel containing snaps of the sweet pet adjusting to his new life in her New York City home.
“He and his siblings were all given botanical names when they were rescued as newborns by the @cthumanesociety,” the “Sex and the City” alum went on.
Parker said she and longtime husband Matthew Broderick — who share son James, 20, and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion, 14 — “officially” adopted Lotus in April.
“He joins Rémy and Smila who [sic] we adopted in May 2022,” she added, making sure to include a photo of the adorable trio huddled around the same bowl of food.
Internet personality and podcast host Evan Ross Katz — who religiously covers “AJLT” from a pop-culture standpoint — previously predicted that Parker had taken in the cat in real life.
“You weren’t wrong @evanrosskatz. X, SJ,” she commented beneath her own post, prompting Katz to reply gleefully, “Wait… Does this mean SJP reads my newsletter??”
The TV star responded, “@evanrosskatz what do you think??? We all do. Everyone does. Xxx,” which understandably sent Katz “into cardiac arrest.”
