Celsius hosted its first-ever Pickleball Classic with several celebrities — including actor Taylor Lautner, “Bachelorette” alum Tyler Cameron and model Olivia Culpo — at internet sensation David Dobrik’s $9.5 million home in Los Angeles on Friday.
Dobrik, who is a huge fan of the budding sport, partnered with the popular fitness beverage brand to spread pickleball love while also raising money for charity.
Culpo, Lautner and Cameron, along with model Brooks Nader, dancer Tessa Brooks, actress Madison Pettis, Travis Barker’s son Landon and more Celsius brand partners, influencers and athletes, participated in teams of two to try and win money for a charity of their choice.
Cameron – who is an avid pickleball player – will even be partnering with Celsius to travel to several colleges as part of the brand’s Fit Stops Tour later this fall.
DJ duo Two Friends provided the much-needed beats to keep good vibes rolling while the stars battled it out for the title of the first-ever Pickleball Classic champion — but there could only be one winner.
Dobrik, 27, and Lautner, 31, walked away victorious after several intense rounds of the highly popular sport.
The duo were ecstatic to reign supreme and have the opportunity to donate money on behalf of Celsius to the Lemons Foundation – an organization dedicated to supporting those struggling with their mental health, created by the “Twilight” actor’s wife, Tay Lautner,
Bachelor Nation duo Cameron, 30, and Matt James came in second place, winning money which they donated to the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation, which was founded by Cameron in memory of his late mother.
In a twist that excited all of the epic event’s attendees, Celsius announced after the competition that they would be making donations to all participating teams’ charities.
After the tournament concluded, celebrity guests sipped on unique Celsius mocktail recipes, such as their Tropical Vibe CELSI-Rita and Lemon Lime Shirley Temple.
The A-listers could also choose to power up with some of the essential energy drink’s newest flavors, including Oasis Vibe and Fantasy Vibe, as well as their classic Sparkling Lemon-Lime and Peach Mango Green Tea.
Dobrik’s home, which he purchased in August 2020, served as the perfect space for Celsius’ hit event.
Participants had plenty of space to mingle in the whopping six-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate equipped with a 300-bottle wine room, movie theater and a 0.6-acre yard with a basketball court.
The 27-year-old influencer’s modern pad also features a pool table, several sculptures and murals, and of course, a Hawaiian Punch fountain.
Dobrik first rose to fame as a Vine star in 2013 and now has a total of nearly 26 million subscribers on his YouTube channels as well as more than 26 million followers and 1.3 billion likes on TikTok.
