Meghan Markle can make a pretty penny by posting on Instagram, according to a financial expert.
“I would expect her to quickly become one of the most followed accounts on Instagram,” adviser Eric Schiffer told the Daily Mail on Saturday.
“You have celebrities like the Kardashians who can command $1 million and up for a single post promoting a product. There is no reason Meghan couldn’t be earning those sorts of fees.”
Multiple sources exclusively told Pvnew earlier this month that the Duchess of Sussex, 42, had secured the Instagram handle @megan.
However, a separate insider tells us Saturday that claims of Markle returning to the social media platform are false.
“How can she make money if she doesn’t even have Instagram and has no plans to have one?” the source rhetorically asks. Reps for the royal did not immediately return Pvnew’s request for comment.
However, if Markle does decide to create a profile one day, Schiffer said that she “has to be careful” so as to not be seen “hawking every product under the sun.”
“She will align with quality brands and companies that are on point with her political and social beliefs,” he added.
The Instagram handle @meghan has already amassed nearly 820,000 followers without any posts on it.

Sources previously claimed that the profile, which offers very little aside from a placeholder photo of pink flowers, was made in tandem with Markle’s now-defunct Spotify podcast “Archetypes.”
The “Suits” alum’s rumored return also comes amid chatter that the mother of two is planning her acting comeback.
Markle — who has been spending most of her time in quiet Montecito, Calif., with Prince Harry and their children — signed with Hollywood powerhouse Ari Emmanuel’s WME in April.
“The agency will be focusing on building out her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency & its broader ecosystem, including film & television production, brand partnerships & more,” the talent agency wrote via Twitter at the time.
As for where her new management might take her, Schiffer said marketing herself on social media would be the “next logical step.”
It is unclear if Markle is planning to put herself in front of the camera again, but one source previously teased to Pvnew that it is something nobody is “expecting.”
“Meghan and the team are working hard,” the insider said.
“I think it will be surprising, it won’t be what everybody is expecting it to be, it will feel familiar to who Meghan is.”
